Mile marker 1!

Yay!!!! We celebrated our one year anniversary on the 29th of August and it could not have been more perfect! We know that Heavenly Father was helping us out because Rob, who has no time off work and works 14 hour days, had a four day weekend, yes a FOUR DAY WEEKEND, the weekend of our anniversary! We had been hoping that we could go to the TEMPLE on our actual anniversary and we did! We went to the beautiful Newport Beach Temple and it was amazing. We are so excited we had the chance to celebrate there! After we went to Corona del Mar beach and enjoyed togo's, sun, people watching and catchin some waves! We called it an early night after eating at Cheesecake Factory in preparation of Disneyland the following day! I am so grateful to be married to a man who is more than I could ever have hoped for. I have had so much fun this first year and am so ready for more! I love my Robby!

Happy Birthday Rob!

August 28th was Rob's birthday, he turned the big two six! We did a little cake and gifts deal but then headed to Newport beach for dinner and an overnight stay! I got Rob an iphone and I could not believe his excitement! I was the cutest thing I have ever seen from him. He was seriously like a little kid, he was so shocked and happy. Happy birthday to my favorite man in the whole entire world, I love you! Thanks to all our family and friends who remembered him on his special day. The phone calls, texts, emails and gifts were so thoughtful and meant a lot to him!

The sunsets are amazing here in good ol' Yuma! My friend Randi and I took her dogs, Charlie and Goliath, for a sunset walk and enjoyed the scenery!

Mesa!

Rob and I took a trip up to Mesa to go to the TEMPLE! It was a beautiful day and so nice to be in the temple. We were also lucky enough to spend the evening with the Mcgarths. They took us to a yummy mexican place that had the best carne asada. mmm mmm good! Their kidlets are super cute and kept us entertained!

Rob and I took one afternoon to escape the heat by floating down the Colorado River. It was totally relaxing and a fun experience for the two of us!

When Rob and I were finally in Yuma together we were able to have a date night! It was so nice feeling like I had a husband again! We went to Olive Garden for dinner, did some shopping and got yummy ice cream cupcakes from Coldstone! So fun!

Sooo good to have my husband back!

My sweet sweet husband graduated from his academy the Friday of the beach house and then flew to meet us right away. He worked so hard and I am so proud of him. He is such an example to me and I am truly grateful for him and his dedication and devotion to me and our little family. When he got to the beach house he had all his stuff and a huge gift bag with a gift for me! Why you might ask (I did too), for supporting him through the academy and an early anniversary gift he said. I was so so so excited, I knew he got me the cute o'niell bikini I had been admiring. You can imagine my surprise when I opened the bag and there was the most awesome thing I had ever seen, the CANON REBEL, just for me. I was completely shocked and so excited. Rob always does such a good job surprising me. He certainly spoils me too, I won't be complaining about that one! Thanks again babe!
