This is the longest post ever....sorry
In April we took a trip with Rob's parents. Rob and I flew into DC and then the four of us did a little road trip! It was so much fun and I am so grateful for my in-laws, they really are pretty awesome!

***DAY 2***
Pittsburgh, PA & Kirtland, OH
We started in Pittsburgh at The Fort Pitt Museum where we learned more about the historical role it played in the French and Indian War and the American Revolution. Then we enjoyed a car ride full of dancing en route to Kirtland, OH. In Kirtland we toured church history sites. We saw the Kirtland Temple, now owned by the Community of Christ Church, not the LDS Church. My personal favorite in Kirtland was the Whitney store, love the Whitney family! While there we also visited The Ashery, The Sawmill and The Whitney home. It was a FANTASTIC day topped off with a yummy dinner at TGIF'S!

Kirtland, OH, Amish Country & Buffalo, NY
We started the day by finishing the sites in Kirtland. We went to the Johnson home and it was great! After  wrapping it up there we went to Amish country and it was such a neat experience. I love seeing other cultures and different ways of life for people. It was awesome to learn more about the religion and lifestyle. After we left we headed towards Palmyra, NY, stopping in Buffalo first!

***DAY 4***
Palmyra, NY & Wellsboro, PA
Palmyra was fab-u-loso! It was amazing to be in such a sacred and spiritual place. Walking through the Sacred Grove was so peaceful and surreal. I loved seeing the Hill Cumorah, the Grandin Building (Book of Mormon publication site) and the Whitmer home. We also got to see Joseph and Emma Smith's home and the actual room where the angel Moroni visited Joseph and told him of the brass plates, AMAZING! After all the church history sites in Palmyra we headed towards home stopping for the night in Wellsboro, our friend Colin's hometown!
