Janet and Keith visit:Part 1

My in-laws came to visit us at the end of June. We had such a fun time with them and wish they could have stayed longer. The four of us headed to San Diego for some fun!

My brother graduated!

My younger brother Will graduated from UC Irvine in June. He is such a hard worker and has always been dedicated to his education. He finished with a degree in mechanical engineering, dance choreography and dance theory. Yes, that is right, 3 degrees! We have loved being so close to him and being able to attend all his shows. We are so proud of him and can't wait to see this next part of his life unfold. He is currently enjoying himself in Australia where he is teaching and having a blast exploring! Congratulations Willi, we love you!

The Blessings of the Temple

All day today I have been so overcome with gratitude for my Heavenly Father. I am so thankful for temples on the earth today and I am grateful I have the knowledge I do about the purpose of them. I love being able to enter the temple and feel the love of my Savior so strongly. Enjoy this video!

Lunch with the Lowry's!

While in Southern California, we met up with Sam, Mandy and their adorable boys, Luke and Dane. We went to BJ'S and had such a good time chatting and catching up. We are thrilled that they will be living in the Phoenix area now.....Mandy, I smell trouble!!!!

Laguna Beach with the BFF's!

A few weeks ago we were able to meet the McIntyre's in Laguna Beach for some fun. The best part is that we got to meet our beautiful niece Emma! We love her and I couldn't get enough of her cuteness! She is such a sweet little thing! It was also fun spending time with Jimmy, Kristen, Megan and Johnny. The boys had a blast at the beach together while Kristen and I put our cameras to use! My favorite thing about the bff's is that no matter what, Jimmy always puts Rob in good mood! Thanks for the great time and beautiful beach house guys!

Good Things to Come

I love Elder Holland and I love this message. Its just the reminder I needed! I have moments when I freak out a little and things like this quickly make me feel better. Most of you know how eager we are to start our family without any luck just yet. We know that blessing will come. We are grateful for the many other blessings in our lives and this message reminds us, good things are to come!

Happy Birthday to my Mommy!

Today is my beautiful Mom's birthday! My Mom is one amazing woman. She is always doing all she can to help make our family "run smoothly"! I have learned so much from her and am finding that the older I get the more I am like her.....and I am ok with that! I miss being close to home and being able to spend so much time with her. On the flip side, whenever I go home, I get whatever I want! My Mom is always so sweet and makes sure that I have all the meals I want when I am home and of course desserts to go with!
