Amsterdam

Day 2
Amsterdam
We started our day out with a great breakfast that we picked up from the grocery store called Marqt. It was fabulous! Then we headed to Coster Diamond Factory for a personal tour from Jonas' friend. We saw some awesome bling! We went to get some lunch before heading to Keukenhof to see some tulips! The flowers did not disappoint, it was truly amazing! After a few hours of tulips we went to my cousins for dinner and a little relaxing. We finished the evening off with a night cruise on the canals, a trip through the red light district and some fun at the carnival! Thanks again to Jonas and Mark for showing us their city and Nelly and Dan for surprising us! We loved A'dam!

Amsterdam

Day 1
Amsterdam
We arrived in Amsterdam on a very important day, Queen's Day, the biggest party day in the country! It is a holiday in which the Netherlands celebrates the Queen's birthday! The streets were packed with people having nothing but fun, not an unhappy person to be found! When we got to the airport we were not only met by my cousin Jonas, who just moved there, but my beautiful cousin Jenelle as well! Jenelle and her boyfriend Dan flew out from Vancouver, B.C. to join in the fun and surprise us! We were thrilled to be with family and friends on European soil! The six of us had such a great day seeing all the festivities for Queen's Day, visiting the Anne Frank House, walking along the canals, and enjoying an amazing tapas dinner! It was a great start to our trip. Thank you so much to my beautiful cousins Jonas and Jenelle as well as Dan and Mark for a perfect visit!

Let the fun begin!

The time finally came for us to begin our EUROPEAN VACATION! We were thrilled for this adventure and so GRATEFUL for the chance to see this wonderful world! We had two jam packed weeks that were filled with all of the "musts", in my opinion, and some of my favorites! Be prepared for a photo overload. I am going to try to do a post a day, one for each day of our trip! It will take awhile but I think it is the only way I can blog about the trip without going insane! Hope you enjoy!

Day 1
We drove to Los Angeles the night before we left for our trip. The morning of our flight from LAX to Frankfurt, we stopped by our friends house, where we parked our car. Andrew and Erinn not only let us park at their house but they went to a wonderful lunch with us and sweet Erinn, who was prego & past her due date, took us to the airport! They are the best! When we got to the airport we met up with my Grandma who had just flown in and got checked in for our flight! The fun began!!!!!!
