Christmas 2011

Christmas this year was great! It was different for me because I didn't go home at all this year. We had a blast having Janet and Keith, Rob's parents, come spend it with us! We had a few days here in Yuma with them before Christmas. Also, thanks to our besties, we started a new tradition of going out to eat on Christmas eve. Christmas day was such a wonderful day. The morning started with opening the huge mound of gifts we received from our fabulous family and friends. My sweet husband made us all hot chocolate while we opened gifts. We had a great sacrament meeting at church then returned home to start cooking. The day only got better! We had six missionaries over for the afternoon and dinner, it was AWESOME! They came to use our "technology"! It was so fun seeing the excitement of their families as the elders called and skyped home! I have such a special place in my heart for missionaries and I have been so grateful for this more and more each day. This August will be five years since I became a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! It was a fantastic day!

We(Rob's brothers and their wives) put together a shadowbox for Keith's retirement from the navy in 2011. Rob worked so hard on it and it turned out so great! We are grateful for your service Keithy, we love you!

Love this picture, priceless!
