Continue in Patience

I love President Uchtdorf's words, "Patience means staying with something until the end. It means delaying immediate gratification for future blessings.". My Mom has been trying to teach me this for years. She always said to be patient, that I didn't need
"everything now"! Apparently my Mom was right and Heavenly Father is helping me to learn that very important precious virtue now!

Cindi, aka Bon Qui Qui

This is Cindi, she rocks! I've known this girly since high school but have gotten really close with her in the last year. Her and her cute family live in Mesa which is just a few hours from us. I am able to go visit her often and we ALWAYS have a blast. Rob and I were just talking about Cindi because she is crazy talented, no joke. This girl is the mother of all crafters and "Martha freakin Stewart" has nothing on her. Here are a few pictures from a visit a few months ago when we went to the Mesa LDS Temple.

Patiently waiting...

...to become parents. Rob and I so badly want a sweet sweet angel baby to love and raise on this earth. We know it will come and that is NOT a question. It is just really hard and even sad sometimes. We are very strong in our faith and know that Heavenly Father has a plan! He has the perfect little spirit picked out for our family and is not quite ready to send them to us yet! We don't know why such a righteous desire has not yet been granted to us but we have faith that He does! Heavenly Father wants us to wait and so we will! In the meantime, we are taking full advantage of life with just the two of us. We have lots of time for us and love our ability to be super spontaneous. I know that when it happens, life will completely change (although I know we will still have a clean house, contrary to what everyone tells us!)! Please don't take this as "poor me" post, but more of a grateful post! Grateful for our marriage and our wonderful supportive family and friends. We have a fantastic life and have been blessed beyond belief.

Burger Bash

The guys had us over for a burger grill off, it was a blast! We always have fun with them and it usually involves good food!

Rob's birthday!

Rob's birthday fell on the night of the UFC fights so we had a UFC themed bash with some friends we usually watch them with. It was so much fun to celebrate my fabulous husband with his favorite sport and wonderful family and friends! We had tons of treats and pizza. Everyone filled out a fight card and the guys did a pinata. It was so fun!
